When we were planning and building the ICC, we took care to incorporate the latest fire protection measures. However, our main aim from the very beginning was to offer our guests the highest possible degree of safety. And that goes far beyond the statutory requirements.
That’s why we voluntarily had the ICC certified in accordance with the strictest standard there is for event venues of this kind: the German regulation “Deutsche Versammlungsstättenverordnung”, or “VstättVO”. And if the fire brigade ever does have to be called out, we don’t even need a phone: we have our very own fire brigade just a stone’s throw from the ICC.
